Ein besonders vielseitiges Material mit zwei Ansichten: vorne die bekannte, schön glänzende Satin-Optik mit spiegelglatter Oberfläche. Die Rückseite schimmert dagegen matt, ähnlich wie Crêpe de Chine. Interessant ist die Geschichte des Crêpe Satin: Er wurde konstruiert als matter Seidencrêpe, der auf seiner linken Seite eine glatte Oberfläche wie Futterstoff besitzen sollte. Später wurde dann der schöne Glanz als wichtiger beurteilt und der Crêpe Satin "umgedreht".

Crêpe Satin fällt weich, ist unempfindlich gegenüber Knittern und gibt alle Farben strahlend und satt wieder. Seine glatte Oberfläche lädt geradezu ein zum Färben, Malen und Drucken.
Mit seinem Stoffgewicht eignet er sich ideal für leichte Blusen, Tuniken und andere Oberteile. Tücher, Schals, Stolen und Pareos gelingen aus dieser Seide besonders schön.

Crepe Satin 12.5 Crêpe Satin aus reiner Seide ist ein Gewebe mit zwei Gesichtern: Auf der rechten Seite glatter und hochglänzender Satin; auf linken Seite mit einer leicht rauh wirkenden, samtigen Optik ausgestattet, ähnelt es dem Crêpe de Chine. Crêpe Satin vereinigt also die luxuriös edle Glanzoptik eines echten Seidensatins mit der Knitterarmut und der hervorragenden Drapierfähigkeit des Crêpe de Chine. Crepe Satin-Seidenstoffe sind sehr aufwendig herzustellen und dies spiegelt sich im Preis wider. Dafür vermitteln Blusen, Blazer, Röcke und Hosen, sowie Nachtwäsche aus Seidensatin auch einen einzigartigen Tragekomfort.

Üblicherweise liefern wir unsere Griffmuster im Format 9.5 x 14 cm aus, wobei es aber zu Schwankungen von bis zu 1 cm geben kann.
